Amanda

Treatment Coordinator

With over 10 years of experience in dentistry, Amanda is dedicated to making every patient’s journey at My Langley Dentist feel smooth, supportive, and relaxed. Her calm, caring approach and attention to detail help patients feel welcomed and well taken care of from start to finish. Amanda takes pride in building genuine relationships with patients, helping them feel informed, comfortable, and confident as they move forward with their care.

Outside the office, she loves spending time with her two boys and cheering them on as a devoted lacrosse mom.

Adara

Receptionist

Adara brings five years of dental experience to her role, having earned her reception certification from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Adara enjoys being a welcoming first point of contact for patients and finds the greatest satisfaction in forming genuine connections with everyone who walks in the door. Joining the team in 2024, Adara quickly became known for her friendly demeanor and ability to form relationships with patients and coworkers. Originally from Port Coquitlam, she loves being part of a team that feels like family.

Personally, Adara shares her life with her two beloved corgis and enjoys playing soccer, reading, and doing makeup as a certified makeup artist.

Denise

Certified Dental Assistant

Denise has been in dentistry since 1987 when she earned her Dental Assistant Certification. Since joining our team in 2010, she’s assisted with a wide range of care, including dental procedures and sedation surgeries, and is especially loved by the kids who visit the office. Denise has a gift for helping children feel comfortable by making dental visits fun, educational, and positive. Her calm presence and down-to-earth nature help patients of all ages feel at ease.

When she’s not in the office, Denise enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, snowshoeing, and exploring nature with her dog, Izzy, a playful whoodle.

Emma

Emma graduated in 2024 from Capilano University’s musical theatre program, bringing creativity, empathy, and a people-first mindset into her work in dentistry. While her education began in a different field, she loves being part of the dental team and is eager to keep learning while helping patients feel safe, comfortable, so they can smile more.

Emma loves contributing to a positive, welcoming experience for every patient. In her personal time, she loves sewing and making clothes, as well as spending time with her friends and her partner.

Homaira

Certified Dental Assistant

Homaira graduated from Vancouver Community College in 2016 as a Certified Dental Assistant. She began her career in the Okanagan region before returning to the Lower Mainland three years later. With nearly a decade of experience, Homaira is dedicated to creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for every patient, supporting a positive experience in our practice. Passionate about her work, Homaira finds great fulfillment in helping others through her role in dentistry.

Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, cooking, and exploring new foods.

Jillian

Registered Dental Hygienist

Jillian was born in Singapore and moved with her family to BC when she was four years old. She attended the University of British Columbia, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree of Dental Science in Dental Hygiene. Her philosophy of care as a dental hygienist relies upon evidence-based principles that enable her to provide comfortable and comprehensive care for her patients. Jillian has been with our team since 2014.

Jillian lives in Langley with her husband. She is a self-proclaimed foodie who loves to travel and enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Jerry

Registered Dental Hygienist

Jeraldine, who goes by Jerry to patients and friends, graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor’s degree of Dental Science in Dental Hygiene. She has been a dental hygiene practitioner since 2013. Her provision of care focuses on being evidence based as well as comfortable for her patients.

In her spare time, she loves decorating sugar cookies and spending time with her husband and family.

Krista

Registered Dental Hygienist

Born and raised in Saskatchewan, Krista has over 25 years of experience in the dental field. She began her career as a Certified Dental Assistant in 2000 and later returned to school at the University of the Fraser Valley in 2007 to pursue a degree in Dental Hygiene. Throughout her career, Krista has worked primarily in the Tri-Cities area. She is delighted at My Langley Dentist as it allows her to work closer to home. Krista has an excellent track record of client care and enjoys building trust and long-lasting relationships with her patients. She achieves this through education, empathy, and providing high-quality care.

When she’s not in the office, Krista enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, traveling, and sipping coffee with friends.

Kim

Office Administrator

With a passion for patient care and a talent for organization, Kim keeps our dental office running smoothly every day. As our Office Administrator, she is the friendly face and the expert who ensures everything is handled with care and efficiency. With 27 years of experience, Kim brings a deep understanding of both clinical and patient service sides of dentistry. Patients appreciate her warm demeanor, attention to detail, and commitment to making patient visits relaxed and seamless.

When Kim isn’t at the office, you can find her enjoying family time with her 2 dogs. She also enjoys playing slo-pitch.

Kelsey

Registered Dental Hygienist

Kelsey has been in the dental field since 2012. Her journey began as a receptionist, where her fascination with the clinical side of the practice inspired her to pursue a career in hygiene. She earned her Dental Hygiene Diploma from the Toronto College of Dental Hygiene and Auxiliaries. Since joining our team in 2017, Kelsey has been guided by a strong philosophy of preventive dentistry. She loves providing excellent care and helping each patient have a positive experience with us.

Outside of work, Kelsey stays busy coaching her children’s sports teams and enjoying the outdoors. She loves spending quality time with her two kids, traveling, skiing, and hiking.

Lynn

Registered Dental Hygienist

Born in Vancouver and raised in Surrey, Lynn knew from an early age that she wanted to pursue a career in dentistry, inspired by her own childhood dental hygienist. She holds a Bachelor of Science and a diploma in Dental Hygiene, having completed her education at Trinity Western University and Vancouver Community College. She joined our team in 2023 and has 23 years of experience. Lynn is motivated by the top-notch teamwork and supportive staff, where she values the genuine care shown for every patient’s well-being. Her professional philosophy is rooted in honesty and respect, as she believes these are key to establishing trustworthy relationships. For Lynn, the most rewarding part of her job is building lasting connections, turning strangers into friends and eventually like family.

Aside from her work, Lynn enjoys staying active and spending time with her family. Her favorite hobbies include hiking, running, baking, and traveling.

LeAnh

Registered Dental Hygienist

LeAnh graduated from Vancouver College of Dental Hygiene in 2023 and brings eight years of customer service experience to her dental hygiene career. Her guiding philosophy is to always put patients first, striving to make every visit as comfortable and positive as possible. Her goal is for each person in her chair to feel respected, cared for, and at ease.

In addition to her career, LeAnh values time with her family and close friends. She enjoys exploring new restaurants, getting lost in a good book on her Kindle, and indulging in a little shopping.

Wendy

Certified Dental Assistant

Wendy is a Certified Dental Assistant who works with Dr. Ali. Originally born in Quebec and raised in Vancouver and Salt Spring Island, she completed her professional training at VCC and Langara Community College. Wendy brings 25 years of experience to the practice and holds several certifications, including her Orthodontic module and BLS. Her guiding philosophy is to provide competent, safe, elevated treatment to every patient under all circumstances. Wendy is motivated by the wonderful staff and patients at our clinic, finding the high standard of care deeply rewarding. When she is not at the office, Wendy finds her “zen” in gardening. She also stays active through running and enjoys playing the guitar.
