professionals that are dedicated to your utmost comfort and optimal
oral health. We view each patient as a unique individual, and
tailor each treatment to your specific needs. As part of our
commitment to providing close, personalized attention to every
patient, we want to encourage patient communication. Please know

Our Hygienists:
Jillian, Registered Dental Hygienist
Jillian was born in Singapore and moved with her family to BC
when she was four years old. She attended the University of British
Columbia, graduating with a Bachelor's degree of Dental Science in
Dental Hygiene. Jillian’s philosophy of care as a dental
hygienist relies upon evidence-based principles that enable her to
provide comfortable and comprehensive care for her patients.
Jillian has been practicing at My Langley Dentist since 2014. She
lives in Langley with her husband and dog, Cooper. She is a
self-proclaimed foodie who loves to travel and enjoys spending time
with family and friends.
Barb, Registered Dental Hygienist
Barb studied Dental Hygiene at St. Clair College in Windsor, Ontario, and has been practicing for over 20 years. Prior to practicing Dental Hygiene, she was a dental assistant for 2 years in Ontario, where she was born and raised. Barb has worked at My Langley Dentist for over 16 years and is grateful to be a member of this team and family. She enjoys building relationships with our patients and making it a positive experience for them while providing evidence based care.
Barb has a wonderful husband and 3 active children. When she is not working, she is busy being a mom and enjoys watching her kids play soccer, hockey, volleyball and many other activities
Kelsey, Registered Dental Hygienist
Kelsey graduated from Toronto College of Dental Hygiene and Auxiliaries in 2012.She spent the first few years as a hygienist in Ontario before moving back home to BC. She has a gentle and kind nature that allows her patients to feel at ease. She thrives on ensuring her patients are comfortable while providing evidence-based care.
Kelsey is married and has two beautiful kiddos. Her interests include staying active, whether it be going to the gym, hiking, tennis, snowboarding, or just playing some board games with her family and friends.
Jerry, Registered Dental Hygienist
Jeraldine, who goes by Jerry to patients and friends, graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor's degree of Dental Science in Dental Hygiene. She has been a dental hygiene practitioner since 2013. Her provision of care focuses on being evidence based as well as comfortable for her patients.
In her spare time, she loves decorating sugar cookies and spending time with her husband and family.
Our Assistants:
Denise, Certified Dental Assistant
Having earned her Certification in 1987, Denise has been working as a CDA with My Langley Dentist since 2010. She assists dental procedures and sedation surgeries, and provides dental care for the children in our practice. Also trained as an Education Assistant with BC Independent Schools, Denise enjoys teaching little ones about their dental health, making it a positive, fun experience with balloons and prizes!
In her spare time, Denise enjoys hiking in the summer, snowshoeing in the winter, and her newest passion is her dog, a Whoodle named Izzy!
Tracey, Certified Dental AssistantTracey is a 2015 graduate from Vancouver Community College’s certified dental assistant program. Since graduating, Tracey’s career has been based in the lower mainland and she has expanded her knowledge in the dental industry by completing the Canadian Dental Anaesthesia Assistant Certification course. As a certified dental assistant, her priority is to ensure her patients are comfortable by providing the best care.
On her days off, she enjoys travelling, going out to eat, and spending quality time with friends and family.
Homaira, Certified Dental Assistant
Homaira graduated from Vancouver Community College as a certified Dental Assistant in 2016. She has been working as a dental assistant practitioner since 2016, starting her career in the Okanagan then moving back to the lower mainland 3 years later. She is always making sure her patients are at ease and ensures a positive dental experience. Homaira loves her career as a dental assistant.
In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family, cooking, and eating!

Team:
Margot, Office Manager
Margot's passion for providing exceptional dental care to all our patients began with 30 years of dental experience as a hygienist, then transitioning into an administrative position in 2017. She has worked with some of the My Langley Dentist team members since 1994 and is proud to call our practice her dental home. She feels that a great patient experience encompasses all aspects of a visit and is always looking for ways to ensure every patient feels welcome, comfortable, and cared for.
Margot enjoys skiing, playing slo-pitch, and walking her two big, lovable dogs year round.
Kim
Kim has worked in the field of dentistry for 25 years, with the
eight most recent being a team member at My Langley Dentist. Her kind manner
combined with her wealth of experience and attention to detail
allow her to provide excellent administrative assistance to all our
patients. Kim enjoys working with Dr. Abel and Dr. Ali as they genuinely cares
for their patients, and as part of a team which is dedicated to
teamwork.
Rayane
Rayane recently joined our team, and comes to us with over six years of customer service experience. She is excited to be in the dental profession and is eager to learn all its aspects. Her energy and positivity make every patient feel welcome and cared for.
Rayane moved to Canada from Brazil in 2012. She loves to spend time in the outdoors, whether it's hiking or playing soccer. with family and friends. She also loves to make and eat Brazilian food.
Michelle
Michelle has been involved in the dental field for 27 years, mostly in the Langley area. She came to our office two years ago in a temporary role, and has chosen to remain with our team permanently. Her upbeat and positv
